Players will be placed on a team based on their age, division and current category played. Players registered individually will receive a hockey jersey and hockey socks they can keep as a souvenir.
Individual Player Placement
- Players whose team is not registered in the Celebration are welcome to register as an individual. Follow the guidelines below for registration.
- Players currently playing in female or male hockey at the U9, U12, U13, or U15 can register in the equivalent level. Please note that we reserve the right to move a player up to the next division.
- Players playing in hockey scolaire in a school league that is recognized and accredited by Hockey Quebec are welcome to register in their age division based on their year of birth.
- Players currently playing ringette are welcome to take part in the Celebration by registering in Hockey Canada’s HCR. To know more about the procedure, email us by clicking here.
Final team placement of a player registered individually will depend on their current category and caliber played. We will place the players in the appropriate divisions starting with the athletes playing at the highest levels this season. In the U13 divisions, priority will be given to the players playing in the highest level starting with U13-AAA, AA, BB, CC, and A. In the U9, U12 and U15 divisions, priority will be given to players who have registered first.
AAA Division
The Celebration will end with an All-Star Game involving the best players from U13 AAA division as chosen by the Girls Hockey Celebration scouts and coaches. AAA players must be available for the duration of the Celebration as well as for the Quebec Women’s Hockey Tournament held in January 2026.
To be eligible for the Quebec Étoiles Team, players must be born in Quebec and playing in a league in Quebec that is accredited by Hockey Canada.
